Ms. Eliza Brooks, Principal

Hello Parents, Students, Staff, and Danville Community, 

My name is Eliza Brooks, and I am honored to serve as the Principal of North Ridge Middle School. With 26 years of experience in public education—including 5 years as a classroom teacher and 21 years in school leadership—I remain deeply committed to ensuring that every student receives a high-quality education in a supportive learning environment. 

Having spent 22 years in Danville District 118, my dedication to this community runs deep. Prior to returning home to Danville, I gained valuable administrative experience serving as the Executive Director of Middle Schools for Peoria Public Schools for two years and as Principal of South Side Elementary School for one year. 

I am thrilled to be back in Danville, collaborating once again with our exceptional staff, dedicated families, and inspiring students to foster academic growth and success. 

Mr. Henderson, Assistant Principal

Mr. Nathan Henderson is a Danville graduate, who comes to North Ridge with 16 years of experience as a secondary English teacher. He has spent the last 10 years as a teacher at Danville High School. He holds a B.S. in English from Illinois State University and an M.S. in Education from Eastern Illinois University.

I'm excited to introduce myself as your Assistant Principal. As a proud Danville High School alum, I’m thrilled to be back in my community, supporting our students. With degrees from Western Illinois University and Eastern Illinois University, I’ve had the privilege of serving in various roles in education, always focused on helping people reach their full potential. I’m passionate about education and believe in creating a supportive environment where every student can thrive.
