Mr. Gourley, Principal
Mr. Michael Gourley is a native of the Danville area and graduated from Schlarman High School. After graduating from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, he began his career teaching history and social studies in Normal. He later earned a degree in Educational Administration and Foundations from Illinois State University and moved into an assistant principal position. He continued to serve in administration as an associate principal in Urbana and principal in Morton and Morris. Mr. Gourley is excited to be taking on the role of North Ridge Middle School Principal and is looking forward to working with their outstanding staff and students. In his free time, Mr. Gourley enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and other outdoor activities
Mr. Henderson, Assistant Principal
Mr. Nathan Henderson is a Danville graduate, who comes to North Ridge with 16 years of experience as a secondary English teacher. He has spent the last 10 years as a teacher at Danville High School. He holds a B.S. in English from Illinois State University and an M.S. in Education from Eastern Illinois University.
